By the Numbers
Year after year, the left claims that setting any limitations to abortion are acts of white supremacy and thus discrimination. They have used “my body, my choice” and “abortion is healthcare”. And anytime a man has said a word, they rushed to remind us males that we cannot get pregnant, so we should have no say.
In the last year, they have been dismantling their own arguments. See, with vaccine mandate which force men and women alike to take medicine against their will. Which seems to violate “my body, my choice” and in this same time period men can now get pregnant, so men have a say!
And as a man, I am still trying to wrap my mind around some of their stupidity. But this whole idea tying racism to abortion is yet another sorry attempt by the left to use race to gin people up. See, they understand that the majority of pissed off people tend not to think clearly.
And they use that truth to spread lies and misinformation! Maybe someone should kick their asses of twitter and all the other social media for spreading misinformation.
The best way to determine whether full access to abortion is anti-racist and restrictions racist is to look at the current numbers and break them down by the demographics.
And fortunately for us, the very ones making these claims also keep the records. So, if we look at the numbers then the numbers, they report should reveal that people of color should represent the fewest numbers of abortion.
Do the numbers bear this out?
So, looking at the state-by-state breakdown, one might be able to make this case. However, when you dig a bit deeper, you will find that the population levels of people of color are extremely lower in many of those states. Therefore, the percentages may not statistically bear that out in the end.
When you take the whole country for example the latest set of numbers are for 2018 and here is what the CDC reports.
“Among the 49 reporting areas that provided data for 2018, a total of 619,591 abortions were reported… Among the 31 areas that reported race/ethnicity data for 2018, non-Hispanic White women and non-Hispanic Black women accounted for the largest percentages of all abortions…), and Hispanic women and non-Hispanic women in the other race category accounted for smaller percentages (20.0% and 7.7%, respectively) …”
Here is the money stat: “Non-Hispanic White women had the lowest abortion rate (6.3 abortions per 1,000 women) and ratio (110 abortions per 1,000 live births), and non-Hispanic Black women had the highest abortion rate (21.2 abortions per 1,000 women) and ratio (335 abortions per 1,000 live births).”
(Re-read those two paragraphs carefully and you will spot the twisting of the numbers to suit their agenda.)
So, the numbers are clear. Abortion is in and of itself is as racist as Margret Sanger who openly shared her heart as she reflected not just on women but people of color and abortion.
And if you are not familiar with Margret and her views, then you will likely be shocked as her views are the same a Adolf Hitler’s views of the Jewish people. I just want to warn you that if you are sensitive to your fellow humans out there and truly care about other people then the following quotes may make you sick to your stomach!
According to “LifeNews.com” In a letter to Dr. Clarence Gamble in December, 19, 1939, Sanger exposited her vision for the “Negro Project,” a freshly launched collaboration between the American Birth Control League and Sanger’s Birth Control Clinical Research Bureau. The letter echoes the eugenic ideologies still visible within the corporate vein of Planned Parenthood today.
“It seems to me from my experience…that while the colored Negroes have great respect for white doctors they can get closer to their own members and more or less lay their cards on the table which means their ignorance, superstitions and doubts.
We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal”
Margret was an avowed white supremacist. In 1926 she spoke at a KKK rally in Silver Lake New Jersey. And generally seemed very pleased as she got more invitations to speak in front of several other similarly minded groups.
But her ideas were not just to limit or bring an end to the black race, she was also just like our modern left. She was an ideolog and an elitist as she according to America Needs a Code for Babies," Article 4, March 27, 1934 "No woman shall have the legal right to bear a child, and no man shall have the right to become a father, without a permit for parenthood."
See she had extremely sickening ideas toward everyday people. She felt that blacks, Jews, as well as the poor and immigrants, “human weeds,’ ‘reckless breeders,’ ’spawning… human beings who never should have been born.”
As well as seeing birth control was a way of weeding out of what she saw as unfit. She saw it as a way to the medical profession to “weed out” undesirables.
So, let’s be honest, if this were the idea that built Planned Parenthood, then why would anyone support such diabolically evil practice?
To me it's as plain as the golden arches are to McDonald's. A civilized and loving society would kill access to abortion, instead of killing babies and we will all be better off. Our nation thrives only as the family thrives!
Yet the left seems to think that killing babies is noble. They stand before us and argue that we should kill off our treasure!
The argument is always based on this idea of "choice" and medical autonomy for the women.
Yet, those arguments are a ruse they use. What they want, what their benefactors need is working women, not mothers.
I am a husband, dad and a grandpa, so I cannot speak firsthand to what it is to be a mother. Yet my wife would tell you that “being a mother is a gift!” Creating another human being, a child that is an expression of a union of love, but it is more because the child is part of you and part of your spouse, someone who is expression of "when two become one". And no matter the hardships, the sleepless nights, the joy outweighs everything else!
And if you are a person of faith, then you know that “innocent blood cries out” and that if we want to enjoy blessing from God as a nation, then respecting life and protecting life is not an option!
What do you think?
