Racism: Immutable vs Choice

The title is a bit misleading, but it is with purpose. In many ways we have treated racism and discrimination differently, in fact in some ways we have embraced discrimination and taken parts and removed the stigma and then conflated other parts to broaden the terms of racism.

I have been thinking a lot about what is going on and the over-the-top racism headlines and ideas for a while now. I feel we need a new way of understanding an old problem. And while I do not condone and in fact condemn racism and discrimination in any form, I do think we have such a convoluted misunderstanding that has engulfed people in a way that allows others to act out the kind of evil that corrupts the heart and society itself.

This will not be a long thread, but it is important, and I certainly welcome your feedback.

Plain and simple people who discriminate because of immutable traits are ignorant and uninformed.

Our body type, Hair color, skin color, short, tall, left-handed or right, we have zero say in it. It is a part of who we are, and anyone can get hassled for just those things. Just ask an awkward child. It sucks for sure, but I can feel sorry for an immutable type of racist.

Because I know what kind of person, friend, or any other adjective I am, and in the end, it is their loss. That does not mean it hurts less, it doesn’t. Again, they are ignorant and uninformed!

As I transition, I am in no way saying that one racist or type of discrimination is better than another. They both have hatred in their hearts and racism/discrimination is pure evil.

Both are horrible but hear me out.

People who discriminate because of another's beliefs are purveyors of pure evil.

What you and I believe is our choice. I had no choice about being left-handed.

Hopefully, the personal choices we make or things we believe are educated informed choices, but whether they are or are not they are a part of who we choose to be.

People who discriminate over the political ideas that resonate with you are saying you are stupid, and your choice is wrong. It is not just an erroneous belief for you, they think that your belief is bad for them.

Think about "the jab" people who demand you get vaccinated are saying your choice to not get vaccinated is not valid because it is not their choice.

Think about that for a minute.

If one adult tells another adult that you must believe what I believe or do what I say. That is evil because they are trying to invalidate you, our personal autonomy is at stake here.

No one has the right to violate our autonomy! Not since the sin of slavery struck our shores has a group been so reckless and driven by evil.

And once again it is Democrats and Democratic policies that are forcing us into a place of a potential civil war. Not that any war is civil but the lives that could be lost do not even cross the threshold of their minds.

They do not care, and they have made that perfectly clear for the past five years. They simply want what they want and do not care who gets hurt in the process

At some point as a Nation, we are going to cross a line from which we may never return.

I am given some hope today that God has not turned his back on our country.

People seem to be waking up from their slumber and it is good to see.

Now awake we must all keep a light shining in all the dark places and cast out the darkness.

We deserve better and we should demand it and if those who practice such evil refuse to relent regardless of party then we must remove them from any position of power over anyone
